Temple Music Studio is situated in a quiet residential street in Sutton, just a short ride south of London. Established in 1983, the studio has a proven track record of excellence in all genres, making it an an ideal choice for projects focused on film scoring and classical music.

Advanced Acoustic Design
Temple Music Studio’s facilities match those of its larger competitors. The 90 square meter recording space features a LEDE design, incorporating no parallel walls, a multi-section floating floor, and ‘revolving wall’ variable acoustics, ensuring optimal sound quality.
Recording Environment
Natural Light & Isolation
The studio floor benefits from natural light. Its open acoustic environment is ideal for recording both traditional chamber ensembles and commercial film soundtracks. Additionally, the studio is equipped with two isolation booths that provide controlled acoustics for individual instruments or vocal tracking.
Control Room Features
Purpose-Built for Performance
The control room is designed with no parallel walls and provides direct access to the studio floor. It features an excellent “face forward” view of the recording area, complete with a TV link to facilitate effective communication during sessions.
Unique studio space
Focusing on efficiency & performance
28 mic lines and 5 tie-lines from the studio to the control room, and six independent stereo foldback/cue channels allow for larger ensembles to be accommodated with ease. Custom-built dedicated talkback system which operates with foot-pedals and hand-held buttons and has two channels – one feeding the cue system via Pro Tools, the other a pair of speakers in the recording area. The microphone is in the ceiling and allows anyone in the control room to speak to performers without raising their voice.
Well-equipped for string sections and classical music recording. In addition, the studio hosts a magnificent sounding Yamaha C7 grand piano alongside an impressive collection of vintage and modern microphones.
